THIS IS LOVE

Image
THIS IS LOVE This is love- not the fleeting whisper of the world, nor the fragile warmth that fades with time.           but the quiet, Steadfast, Presence, that found me even before I knew your name.   This is love- the one who walks beside me, in the winding path of my vocation. in every yes that trembles on my lips, in every doubt you gently turn into trust.   This is love- when my soul longs and aches for meaning, You fill the empty spaces within me. like light pocking through broken windows, making even my wounds glow with grace.   This is Love- When hunger rises deep within my heart, not for bread alone, but for purpose. you became my daily Potion, the Bread that satisfies without end.   This is love- You who shaped me in your wisdom, who wove my uniqueness with tender hands, turning my gifts into quit offerings. reflections of your own beauty in me. ...

“IT IS FINISHED.”

Image
“It is finished.” — these final words of Jesus Christ on the cross are not words of defeat, but of fulfillment, victory, and complete love. On this Good Friday, we are invited to pause and enter into the depth of His suffering. Jesus endured pain, rejection, humiliation, and the weight of our sins—not because He had to, but because He chose to love us completely. Every wound, every drop of blood, every moment of agony was offered for us. When He said, “It is finished,” He was declaring that His mission was accomplished. The work of salvation was complete. The bridge between heaven and humanity was restored. His love held nothing back. And yet, this message speaks powerfully to us today—especially in our present lives. In a world where many young people struggle with pressure, insecurity, and the desire to be accepted, the cross reminds us: you are already loved fully and completely. Jesus did not wait for us to be perfect. He loved us at our worst, and still gave everyth...

“DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.”

Image
“ Do this in memory of me. ” — these words of Jesus Christ are not only meant to be remembered, but to be lived every day. As we remember this Holy Thursday, we are drawn into that sacred moment when Jesus sat with His disciples—sharing a simple meal, breaking bread, and offering Himself completely. In that quiet evening, He showed us what true love looks like: humble, self-giving, and faithful until the end. The love of Jesus is unconditional love —a love that cannot be measured. It is not based on how good we are, how perfect we seem, or how worthy we feel. He loved even when He was about to be betrayed. He loved even when He knew He would be abandoned. And in the same way, He loves us today—completely, patiently, and endlessly. In our present world, especially for young people, love is often confused with approval, popularity, or temporary feelings. We live in a time of pressure—pressure to fit in, to be accepted, to be “enough” in the eyes of others. Social media can ma...

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Image
PRAYER OF REPENTANCE Lord Jesus, You were betrayed by those You loved, yet You never stopped loving. Today, I come before You with a humble heart. Forgive me for the times I have been unfaithful— in my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Forgive the hidden disloyalty within me—the times I pretended, doubted, and turned away. Cleanse my heart, O Lord, and make me faithful again. Teach me to love sincerely, to serve wholeheartedly, and to follow You without fear. Amen.  SMAL, April 01, 2026 by: S. Anita Lani, RVM

The Smile of Jesus in Holy Week

Image
The Smile of Jesus in Holy Week Along the silent road of sorrow where shadows gather on the hill Jesus walks beneath the burden of the cross He chose to bear. Thorns rest upon His wounded brow blood falls like quiet prayer; yet in the depth of all His suffering a gentle smile is there. Not a smile that hides the anguish nor one that denies the pain but a smile born out of mercy a love the cross cannot restrain. He sees the world before Him: its wounds, its fear, its sin and still He smiles with tender grace inviting hearts to come within. Oh Holy Week, so full of mystery you whisper truths so deep that love can shine through darkest nights and hope can wake from sleep. For even on the road to Calvary when heaven seemed so far the Savior’s quiet, faithful smile became our guiding star. And from the cross He still is smiling not in triumph yet, but love for He knows the dawn is coming and resurrection waits above. SMAL, March 31, 2026 By: S. A...

The love of Jesus, My Kuya and Best Friend

Image
A Reflection for Valentine’s Day: The Love of Jesus, My Kuya and Best Friend Valentine’s Day is often celebrated with flowers, chocolates, and sweet words, but at its core, it is about love—the greatest kind of love that we have ever received: the love of Jesus. He is my best friend, my Kuya, my everything. His love is constant, never failing, and always present, whether in joy or sorrow. He loves me not because of what I do but simply because I am His. Saint Valentine, whose name is remembered today, was a witness to this same love. He lived during a time when expressing Christian love and faith was dangerous, yet he remained faithful. He helped others experience God's love, performing marriages in secret and caring for the persecuted. His life reminds me that love is not just about grand gestures but about selfless giving, even in small ways. As I celebrate this day, I am deeply grateful for the people who have shown me love—family, RVM Sisters, friends, professors, a...

GEMBALA YANG SELALU TERSENYUM

Image
